At Sinnkawa, we are committed to delivering the excellence of our Curated Art Gift Collection and the Sinnkawa Family IP products to our global community. This policy outlines the standards, procedures, and legal obligations governing the movement of goods from our fulfillment centers to your doorstep. By placing an order with Sinnkawa, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stipulated below.
1. Centralized Fulfillment Model
To ensure the highest quality of packaging and rigorous quality control for every item—from the Hello Merlion Plush Doll (CS91xxx) to delicate Merlion Tumblers (CS41xxx)—Sinnkawa operates a centralized fulfillment model.
- Global Dispatch Hub: All orders are exclusively processed, audited, and dispatched from our Singapore Warehouse.
- Order Processing Time: Standard orders typically require 1 to 3 business days for processing, allowing our team to ensure each gift is securely packed for transit.
2. Shipping Destinations & Lead Times
2.1 Singapore Domestic Delivery
Sinnkawa provides reliable last-mile delivery across the mainland through strategic partnerships with top-tier local carriers, including J&T Express, Ninja Van, and Pickupp.
- Shipping: All shipping fees are borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.
- Estimated Lead Time: Orders will be dispatched approximately one (1) month after the online purchase closing date.
2.2 International Shipping
Sinnkawa proudly ships our Singaporean cultural gifts to international enthusiasts.
- Calculated Rates: Shipping fees for international destinations are calculated in real-time at the checkout page based on the parcel weight and destination country (TBD based on evaluation).
- Transit Times: While standard international shipping typically ranges from 5 to 15 working days, actual delivery dates depend on the efficiency of local postal services and customs clearance in the destination country.
3. Customs, Duties, and Local Taxation
3.1 Singapore Goods & Services Tax (GST)
In accordance with the regulations set by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), a statutory GST rate of 9% (effective 2026) is applied to all taxable transactions for local deliveries.
3.2 International Import Obligations
For all international shipments, the customer is designated as the Importer of Record.
- Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.
- Duties and Taxes: Orders shipped outside of Singapore may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. Package recipients must fulfill these additional charges for customs clearance.
4. Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy
Sinnkawa offers a 15-day return window from the date of receipt. However, given the diverse nature of our product categories, specific eligibility criteria apply:
4.1 General Eligibility
To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be in their original packaging, unused, unwashed, and in resaleable condition with all Sinnkawa tags attached.
4.2 Category-Specific Restrictions
Due to hygiene, health, and the unique nature of certain product lines, the following rules apply:
- Lifestyle & Hygiene Products: Items such as the Merlion Tumbler (CS41008 series) and Vehicle Fragrance (CS19023 series) are only eligible for return if the original factory seal remains intact.
- Blind Box Collectibles: The Glittery Magnet Blind Box (CS51004A) and Wood-Layered Magnet Blind Box (CS55003BX) are non-returnable once the internal silver foil or packaging is opened, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects.
- Food Products: Perishable items, including the Pandan Cake (CS95001) and Durian Crisp (CS95002), are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable. Customers are advised to inspect the expiry date upon delivery.
- Personal Accessories: Items like Socks (BB23xxx) or Sleep Masks (BB19003) cannot be returned once the packaging is opened due to hygiene protocols.
4.3 Refund Processing
Once the returned goods are received and inspected at our Singapore Warehouse, refunds will be initiated via the original payment method. Please allow for standard banking processing times.
5. Self-Pickup Policy (Contact Required)
Please note that the Sinnkawa corporate office is a secure administrative environment and not a public-facing retail storefront or walk-in pickup point.
- Coordination Mandatory: We do not offer direct self-pickup at our office location (152 Beach Road) unless a specific arrangement has been made.
6. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Sinnkawa strictly adheres to Singapore's export laws and international carrier safety regulations. We do not facilitate the shipment of:
- Tobacco and nicotine products.
- Flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials (excluding contained candles like CS19020A/B).
- Cash equivalents, securities, or controlled drugs.
- Chewing gum (prohibited for import into Singapore).
7. Data Privacy and Compliance (PDPA)
In the course of fulfillment, Sinnkawa collects recipient data (Name, Address, Phone Number). We are fully committed to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. Your information is utilized solely for logistics execution and authorized customer support and will never be disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
